I’m pretty sure that it’s going to take much longer than three hours to pedal to Olympus Mons, but hey, that’s what there’s music for.

Additionally, I found something to help me focus on getting crunches done. Credit goes to the ShrinkGeek.com forums. If I’m watching TV, during the commercials, I flip over the first 5 cards of a deck of cards, and do that many crunches 2 – 10 are worth face value, jacks are worth 11, queens are worth 12, kings are 13, and aces are 15. Since I normally only watch less than a half hour of TV a day (PTI and Top Gear, skipping the bits that don’t interest me) that will get me to do a fair amount of crunches. I did it during the Packers / Cards game on Sunday and turned out 202 crunches during the game. Since I normally don’t watch 3 hours of television, I figure I should flip over more than one card when watching the small amount of TV I normally do.
So, why did my exercise slip this week? Friday I fell asleep early, and Thursday, I had two things go wrong. First, I was exhausted from carrying home groceries, and second, my Cowon (music player) died. Without the music I can’t focus and after 1.61 km, I couldn’t stand sitting there. I replaced it with my Droid today and was trying to make up some distance, but my ass is sore from sitting on that seat so I had to bail.
Next week should be tough to workout, due to Saturday and Sunday being swamped, but I’ll do my best to get my time in.
