Normally, in games with “Good” and “Evil” decisions, it’s a matter of being a total dick, or a goody two-shoes. Meanwhile, in Mass Effect 3, it’s a matter of picking what races are most likely to be eliminated by the Reapers. Or how much of your humanity you’re willing to sacrifice to ensure humanity’s survival.
Game reviews – Super Meat Boy
Let’s start things off by not talking about Super Meat Boy. Instead we’re going to talk about something that really matters.
Me.
Chin-up Quest: The Search for Survival Skills
I’ve never been able to do a chin-up. All of my muscle mass has always been on the lower half of my body. Meanwhile my top half looks like The Blob from X-Men. And while nothing moves The Blob, that doesn’t mean I want to stay that way.
So, currently I’ve got some dumbbells at my workplace, and I’m working on building my arm strength up. The target muscles that appear to be failing are the Brachioradialis and the Deltoid. To deal with that, I’ve been doing Lateral Raises and Dumbbell Bent-over Rows for the Deltoids, and I’ll be adding in Hammer Curls to work the Brachioradialis. Wish me luck on getting closer to that goal!
Reboot, restart, and re… something. Crap.
Okay, so I cleaned everything out, and decided to make a fresh start with the NBA. Why? Well for a few reasons.
I want to document how my exercises are going.
I want to focus on getting through my list of unfinished Steam games.
I want to help other people doing gaming marathons with information on how to start things up, pitfalls to watch for, and how to start getting connected.
And I want space to just go on a rant when I feel the urge.
So, yeah! Restarting this, and we’ll see how it’ll go.
